Doxiciclina topica nel trattamento non chirurgico della perimplantite

Case report describing non-surgical treatment of peri-implantitis using topical 14% doxycycline hyclate (Ligosan, Heraeus Kulzer) in a 55-year-old female patient with three malpositioned implants (positions 43, 44, 45) presenting with inflammation, bleeding, purulent exudate on probing, and pathological probing depths of 7-9 mm. The patient had stabilized chronic generalized periodontal disease and good home care. Treatment followed a detailed protocol avoiding systemic antibiotics.
